FYI on Microsoft FrontPage

Dear FrontPage Users,

If you use FrontPage as your web editor, you need to know that FrontPage is no longer supported in any way by Microsoft and as technologies change and servers are upgraded, certain FrontPage features will no longer work.  In particular; forms built with FrontPage extensions are unreliable and there are no fixes for the problems that occur.  Microsoft knows of the issues and has stated that they do not intend to fix them.

This is not to say that FrontPage is not still a useful program.  If you use it as an editor and avoid any features that require FrontPage extensions such as forms, you should still be able to use it for quite a long time. ADWH does recommend that you do not connect via http for editing.  You should always connect via FTP.  This way you will know that you are not going to inadvertantly use any FrontPage extensions.
